As part of our project to support needy children in Bali (Indonesia), we were able to make significant progress that had a direct and positive impact on the lives of around 2,000 schoolchildren from financially disadvantaged families.the project was carried out from May to July 2024.

A central component of the project was the distribution of school uniforms to these children. The provision of uniforms not only standardised the outward appearance of the pupils, but also strengthened their sense of normality and belonging. The children feel equal as a result and can concentrate fully on their learning without feeling disadvantaged due to their financial situation. This measure contributes significantly to the creation of an inclusive and supportive school community.

In addition, thanks to this project, the school kitchen was renovated and equipped with the necessary equipment. This made it possible to provide the children with free, healthy meals on a regular basis. Thanks to this renovation, the pupils can now enjoy two nutritious meals a day - breakfast and lunch - which not only boosts their health and energy levels for the school day, but also provides considerable relief for their families.

These measures have created a solid foundation that not only helps the children to develop during their time at school, but also provides them with the necessary resources for a promising future. The goal of creating a supportive and conducive school environment in which the children can grow, learn and fulfil their potential has been successfully achieved.

The distribution of school uniforms and the renovation of the school kitchen are key successes of this project, which will also enable future pupils to receive the best possible support on their educational journey.
