Sustainable support for people living in poverty
Close to the projects
The small Swiss aid organisation ChildRightNow International was founded in 2010 as a non-profit association. ChildRightNow supports children affected by poverty in particular, mainly through education, but also, for example, by providing clean drinking water. ChildRightNow emphasises sustainable projects by ensuring that the respective target groups of the projects benefit from them in the long term (even after the project has ended). For example, training as a seamstress enables a young woman to earn an income to support her family. All ChildRightNow projects and activities are politically neutral and non-denominational. ChildRightNow visits the projects abroad twice a year in order to monitor and successfully develop them and to design new programmes. Direct contact with the partner organisations and the target groups of the projects is very important. ChildRightNow handles donations very carefully and keeps administrative costs very low in order to ensure that the majority of donations flow into the projects
